Guest Reviews & Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the Richard Johnston Inn. The rooms were nice and very spacious, with a cozy atmosphere and exceptionally clean. The double bed was comfortable, although a bit high for shorter individuals like me, but using the footstool provided solved that. The service was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who even took care of a small wedding cake. The location was absolutely perfect, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and rich history, making it ideal for exploring Downtown Fredericksburg. The dining experience was very good, with delicious meals and a welcoming dining room that encouraged mingling with other guests. The facilities were well-kept and added to the overall comfort of the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was very spacious and had a comfortable four-poster canopy bed, but there were some issues like water damage above my bed and peeling paint in the shower. The service was top-notch, with engaging and friendly staff who provided excellent recommendations for dinners. The location was perfect for our trip, right in the heart of the Historic District. However, there must have been a problem in the kitchen one morning that affected the dining experience.
My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities I needed, like a Keurig and complimentary brandy. However, I did notice some issues like clutter and water damage above my bed, as well as peeling paint in the shower. The hotel was quite loud, but I still had a cozy and comfortable experience.
Wow, what a gem! This hotel is an absolute delight with its charming decor and cozy atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with a comfortable four-poster canopy bed, providing a truly luxurious stay. The service was top-notch, making my visit truly fantastic. The location couldn't be better, surrounded by a plethora of shops, restaurants, and rich history to explore. The dining experience was out of this world, with exceptional and innovative dishes that left me wanting more. A stay at this hotel is an experience in itself, offering a blend of elegance and comfort that is truly unforgettable.
I had a delightful stay at the inn in historic downtown Fredericksburg. The rooms were charming, spotless, and inviting, although some areas showed signs of clutter and water damage. The service was dedicated to ensuring a memorable experience, with nice touches and a great attention to historic detail. The location was perfect for exploring the area, making walking easy and close to local restaurants. The dining experience was delicious and plentiful, even accommodating gluten-free options. The facilities were well-maintained and provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
